    Any LEOs here correct me if I'm wrong- but it seems the decision of the police not to announce themselves was a pretty poor one. There is already a fairly well established record of scared people firing on police who did exactly what these guys did. It just doesn't seem like this is a situation where not announcing yourself was necessary; but hey, I'm not a cop so I could be wrong.
