I'm just full of questions this evening.

I've also inherited a 98 Argentine Mauser. It has been restocked already. Apparently the barrel has been bored and chambered to 30.06. I have enough 30s. I'm interested in having it rebarrelled to 25.06. Nothing really fancy or heavy, just a nice hunting barrel.

I live between Austin and San Marcos. I'd like to find a local smith who can do the job without bending me over too badly.

I haven't been in this area that long and could use suggestions.

    Thanks
