I have been buying my range ammo from my old supplier in Michigan, but shipping is starting to each into the cost. Who makes high quality reload here in north Texas? I usually buy 1k at a time.

Check out SouthWest Supply. They at most of the gun shows in the DFW area. I have shot thousands of their reloads without a single problem round. I "think" the last price I saw on 9mm was 200 rounds for $38

A word about Freedom, their ammo is underpowered and inconsistent. There have been incidents with their rifle ammo being overcharged as well. While I never personally had a bad problem with their 9mm, the 147 grain is noticeably weaker than factory and I've quit using their ammo after several acquaintances have had squibs.

I've had good luck saving money from Palmetto State when they offer free shipping on ammo. I paid about $165 for 750 rnds new brass. Recently I found Cabelas selling Fiocci 9mm for $9.39 a box of 50.

I've shot a fair bit of Freedom's reloads, but all in .308. Hadn't had any issues but I'll pay close attention in my bolt gun.
