Received the slide back from Novak's............front sight is A 14kt gold Bead....I had already purchased the Novak adjustable rear sight, so I file fitted it today...the ejection port is at .475 so I will leave it at that....Now to flare the ejection port and send it off for engraving/work......still communicating with a couple of engravers........

I've always wanted to go to that yearly show in Las Vegas where all the engravers show up, show off their work, and take orders. If I had the money for proper engraving, I'd want all those side-by-side comparisons as well as a chance to personally interact with the artists.

Took a bit to get up the courage and take the Dremel to a brand new Colt slide..........but I'm satisfied with the results...............now to polish the relief (flare) area........will be sending for engraving/refinishing/bluing soon.....woo hoo.....
