    Will be going with Mr. Jim Russell for my engraving......He has done work for the Colt Custom Shop, Beretta Gallery, Safari Club, S.A.S.S. and the Texas Rangers among others.....specializes in gold inlay, english scroll, scenes, deep relief and Bulino Game.

    He is currently working out Kerrville.......we worked out the design and of course....cost.......

    Finished filing the radius for the Wilson Beaver Tail.....removed all filing marks and polished........stoned the hammer slot, stoned the trigger slot.....

    Sending frame off tomorrow along with the grip safety, S&A magwell to be color case hardened in Amarillo.........

    Some of the Commander work on my end has been slow.....between running the shop and normal work flow stuff, I'm helping a friend build his 1919A4 (7.62X51).......in the shop now bead blasting the parts before we start riveting the receiver together later this evening.......then bead blast it again before going into the parkerizing tank.....hopefully having it ready to test fire on Saturday.....

    Since Ted is bead blasting parts...I will post some pics.........

    Right side plate (semi auto) has been bead blasted. We have already installed the right pintle pad and right rear cartridge stop.

    2 cuts need to be milled on the bolt, the side cut clearance for the island on the right side plate and the a cut for the wider semi auto sear....

    the bolt, barrel extension and lock frame have all been milled for clearance

    Semi on the left and full auto on the right....the wider cut will not allow the full auto sear to be used....

    semi auto trigger on the left, full auto on the right....the semi is a two piece while the full auto in one piece.....

    two piece semi auto trigger. It is spring loaded with an adjustment screw on the back......

    The accelerator must be milled too.......the slot widened...

    The mill cut on the accelerator for the wider semi trigger.........riveted the right front cartridge stop.....got all the parts bead blasted....will rivet the receiver tomorrow....10pm time to go home....

    Just finished parkerizing all the parts...receiver completely riveted and ready for final assembly..woo hoo....
