Hurley's Gold

A great classic jeep, though bittersweet.

    Sorry for the loss.
Kinda jealous of your gain though.
    That's a nice ride.

    ya.
    Thanks.

It’s like getting a treasured firearm heirloom as a present.
It’s not about the monetary value. I’ve already been offered 2-3x what i paid.

I’ll keep it just to cruise the hill country quite early on Sunday mornings. My personal form of Texan prayer, eh?

I grew up driving a 1973 AMC CJ5 my dad bought us (his 3 sons) to trek around his Kerrville ranch.

    Circle of life.

    Helotes!
Sorry to hear of your loss, but what a wonderful legacy to leave a friend! I am sure you will think of him during your adventures into the Hill Country. Jeeps are the perfect vehicles to explore it, we just did Willow City Loop in ours a few weekends back. Couldn't ask for a better way to spend the day with the family...

    Cheers! M2

Sorry about your friend. I remember those. Very nice ride and very sought after around this area at the time.
