I recently picked up these two as a set... I've always had a fondness for the J-Frames and the 63 and 651 are special favorites. The Hogue grips make a nice addition too. :D

    "J" frames?

S&W revolvers (since WWII) came in four frame sizes, from smallest to largest they were:

    J - Model 34, 36, 63, 651, etc.

    K - Model 10, 12, 19, 66, etc.

    L - Model 586, 686, 696, etc.

    N - Model 25, 27, 28, 629, etc.

Yup. Just didn't know S&W had brought back the J frame 22s.

You'll notice these don't have the Frankestein bolts in their sides... which means these are "old" guns.

The company that made these no longer exists... although I heard someone bought the name. :D
