What Moonpie said. But I have also had all my shots.
Only thing I see wrong is too much white background. Well, that and you have not brought them to the range with us yet.

Too much white background? I line the drawers with lint free terry cloth. I try not to pile guns on top of each other. It is just easier to get more drawers.

I had kin who died at the Alamo.
The Alamo... sounds like my neighborhood in this "sanctuary" city. Only two people in my block speak English. On Cinco de Mayo I fly the 1826 Texas Flag with a banner that says Remember San Jacinto! All other times Old Glory is on top with the Pow-Mia flag below on the pole next to that is the Bonnie Blue Flag with The Gadsden Flag below.

Always very nice. I don’t recognize many by brand but they are nice to see. It would be nice to have something like close by to be able to learn about and put hands on specimens like these. My little boy would think the revolvers were pretty cool too.

Pretty sure the daughters of the TexMex war would be glad to see some of those guns.
Funny thing... There is a Civil War Cannon in my living room from 1862.

Well perhaps you need to bond a bit tighter with uncle bigwheel up in Cowtown. We will treat those fine guns very nice over here. Just tell us your wishes as to where they need to go.
Thanks for the offers. My wife has had alot to say about that. My lawyers and estate planners have spenf some time laying out my Revokable Trust and Disposition plans for this collection and other stuff too. Everything is digitally photographed, serial numbered. with purchase documents and historic background files. Every thing has indicators as to where each piece goes and what is to be sold when I go. Between now and then .... who knows. I have already given close friends things to enjoy while I am above ground. My sister couldn't care less about it so that was easy. She has five kids and three of them (nephews) I hear are drooling over uncle John's collection. Uh Oh! They don't even talk to me as it is... so I think there will be some disappointments. My choice!

Sounds like some curious liberals are trying to take a sneak peek at the old Ghila monster to the untrained eye hope that ain’t right.

What a nice surprise. By reading the thread title and seeing that 4 pages were racked up in a bit over 24 hrs, I thought this was a thread about porn, and not gun porn. :)

    Awesome collection John!

This astute looking young man was my maternal Grandma's Uncle. Making him my great great uncle maybe. He helped pin the ears back on old Santa Anna at San Jacinto. My Grandma used to get horsey rides on Sam Houstons knee back when she was a toddler and Sam was an old codger. The guy had an illustrious life but died a pauper due to the Emancipation Proclamation. He was not fond of honest Abe.
