    True. not all Yankees are Damnyankees....Like every other species on earth, there are good and bad ones....I think the term damnyankee might have been given birth during Reconstruction in Texas following the loss of the War For Southern Independence and the stationing of Federal (US) Soldiers in Texas, most of whom invoked terrible humiliation upon our citizens and treated all former CSA soldiers as common criminals, placed ignorant, illiterates in public office, and kicked out of office our legally elected by Texans. A majority of these Federals weren't combat veterans of said war and were here to "get even"...

    There are presently scads of Damnyankees and the majority favor or participate in what has and is going on in Washington since 20 January, 2009...
