    And it is quite noticeable too.

    I havent used a MITER but the blackout is horrendous, especially with electronic muffs. Why won't AAC make a new QD flash hider? I was hoping the MITER might dampen the vibration somewhat because it fits over the barrel.

    Yeah. The high pitched ringing the blackout and other 3 pronged flashhiders generate.

    Oh ok, I have not used the AAC "tuning fork." But I do have a Blackout break on a 12in bushy. great break. You might look into the Breakout series, if you are looking to avoid that ring. I've heard its much less in that guy.

    It depends on the barrel. I have seen the ping go away over time and it seems louder on thin profile barrels.
