Sometimes we don't see the obvious. I think it was Old Man of the Mountain (hope I got his name right ) said something to do with how sad it was to see how things have changed just in his lifetime. I don't know how old he is, but in my too-many years, I understand what he means.
We tend to use major events to define major change and ignore the subtle. We're starting to see the subtle manifest itself as major like we've never seen. You used to be able to live and be comfortable as long as you knew you were doing the right thing. Now, we can't drive 50 miles or even to the store without going though who knows how many conflicting or contradictory laws that require us to be thinking more about, what do I have to do to avoid breaking a law, instead of living free just doing what's right. And our government has continually used laws to gain more and more power and control. All for the all mighty $$$ and control of it.
It's certainly a thought provoking and/or eye opening video. For those who are capable of independent thought that is....
I also remember back when I was younger and I could walk into any sporting goods store and put my money down say thanks and just walk out with
no paper work hassels. Sears and Western Auto also.
