My father and I went to Academy yesterday to look for a 308 for me, and a guy was looking through the shelves pretty adamantly for ammo. He found something, and then got a big smile on his face. We found out that some of the Monarch ammo had old prices on them, and that most of the stores would honor the price, so says he. We found 223 Monarch with an old sticker, but it wasn't recognized at a south Austin location. The Academy near Cedar Park did recognize the $6.86 marked on the 30-30 Winchester. I can post a pic if anyone is interested in seeing. We checked other ammo, but the 30-30 was the only thing that was clearly marked.

The stores around Plano will give the price marked. A buddy of mine told me about that a couple weeks ago. I wonder if you saw him, he goes once a week to look for that stuff.
