I was in Academy buying urine today. (Don't ask...:)). They had Norma .22 and a bunch of 6.8. This was the one on Kuykendahl in Spring.

The Academy in New Caney got in a ton of 6.8 yesterday. I wouldn’t think that would be a big mover.

    Gunz are icky.
Galveston store had a bunch of 22lr and 22WMR.
    Some 5.56
Even some WWB .32 auto at $45 per box! Yikes.
    They got to keep that.

That Norma .22 ammo isn't selling very well.
I've seen it in every store I've been in during the last few weeks. Too expensive IMO.

I mean yeah you can get a 100 pack of Winchester 22lr for the same price as a 50 pack of the Norma. Or even a 100 pack of the CCI for $11.99. The Norma is $9.99 for a 50 pack. Way too expensive, plus 22lr is super easy to find right now.

Went by today and they had lots of steel cased 9mm. Few boxes of Winchester 5.56. Lots of AK ammo.

Still had a 2 box limit so I grabbed the last two 500rd packs of Aguila .22LR

seems every time I go in they have just a little more stock than the last time I was in. They had Winchester .22LR in the 555 and 333 boxes, & 7.62x39 spam cans this time. Also .45 ACP FMJ in the white box 100 ct. with several different flavors of .308, 7.62x39, .223. Also .350, 6.5 grendel, .224 Valkyrie, .380 and .40 S&W. Still no 9mm, .38 spec or .357mag. I do like the 2 box limit. Ensures everyone gets at least some and keeps folks from buying up everything and reselling at ridiculously markups, which has made the shortage even worse

My boss started making us take a lunch hour early last year. Needless to say, I cruise by Academy around elevenish one or three days a week to see what's still in stock. Long story short... I probably bought more ammo than I should the last year or so. I'd love to sell or trade some now that I'm moving houses, but evidently no one is close to Laredo, lol.

What were they charging for the spam cans? The absolute cheapest I have been seeing it at is about $0.35-$0.45 per round.
