That is what I paid for these two boxes of range 9mm (CCI/Speer) today at the Academy on 183 in north Austin today. First centerfire pistol ammo I’ve bought at a b&m store in two years. It all will be a b’day gift for one of my sons.

Yeah it's online for $25 a box. Not AD. The other one. Sells fast.

Last I got at Academy was a 2 box limit and it didn't matter if it was 200 rods. of steel or 50 rods. of brass. My sister got brass and I got the Russian steel. It was like $79 for the steel and $21 for the brass per box. Burleson and Waco are both 2 box limit with people in Waco standing in line still. Dangit

Really; have you actually seen a bunch of sellers trying to sell ammo on Gunbroker at 10X the price - as in the price for which they purchased it? I have seen some folks asking for maybe 1.5 to 2 times the amount at which I have seen ammo available at Academy but have not seen anyone asking 10 times the amount. Not saying they are not out there but that kind of [pricing seems out of this world. Then again, while there are some who set a fixed price on GunBroker, most offerings I have seen are auctions where the buyuers wind up setting the final purchase price.

If someone was actually trying to sell ammunition at 10X the price (whatever you mean by that and I can only assume you mean 10X the going retail price or the going wholesale price) why would you think they would get stuck with it. They could always recoup their initial outlay by lowering their prices to what they paid for it or they could shoot it up.

Are you a socialist or do you support socialism in opposition to the free market system? Or is it you just want something to remain within certain status limitations that are satisfying to you - and only then will you consider it okay - but if it goes outside of your expectations you then consider it as as being wrong because it does not please you? With all due respect, in my opinion, that is truly the liberal way of thinking about everything - wishing bad onto someone who does things differently than the way you think they should be done. It is anti free market, anti free liberty and pro-control of others with whom you do not agree ; all that besides just being a negative and nasty thought on your part.
know cheaper than dirt is crazy on their prices, not 10x but wow, 500 22lr for 100-150, pass. so did not bother looking at their pistol ammo.

Got an email from Academy, Winchester 115 gr fmj, $36.99 100 round box, limit 4 per customer per day. 37cents a round. Plus military discount still available. Getting better.

Yea, if that's the Norma stuff, they been trying to sell that same stuff for a couple of months now and can't get rid of it. They have not had any decent .22lr for months and months now. Walmart can get Federal, Remington and Winchester .22lr at decent prices, but Academy can not seem to get any.

    Gunz are icky.
Went by the local Academy this morning.
    They didn't have much today.
They did have some of those green 500rd boxes of Remington Thunderbolt .22LR. They've raised the price on them to $39.99 per.
At ¢0.08+ per round that's getting a bit too high.
They also had some rifle caliber ammo: 308, 300WM,350, 223, etc. No 30-30 or '06.

That's ridiculous for Thunderbolt. I bought some a couple of weeks ago for 29.99 a box and shot a box through my Glock and it leaded up the barrel so bad I almost could not get it cleared of the lead. So now I only put it in my wife's S&W and let her shoot it. She does not shoot near as many rounds as I do and if I clean hers after every range visit, it does not lead so bad. But no matter what, it's higher than I would be willing to pay for that garbage.
