Went to academy in bastrop the other day. Grabbed 4 boxes of cci .22 sv. Only 2 checkout lanes open and tons of shoppers ( employee shortages are real) after standing in line for 10 minutes the cashier left the register and did not return. Left the 4 boxes on counter and walked.
Cheaper and less hassle to order direct from CCI.

on Saturday Garland Academy had 22, 22 mag, 17HMR, 223, pretty much most pistol calibers except 10mm and 44 mag, and lots of rifle calibers too.

    Even had 224 Valk.

    Gunz are icky.
Went to two Academy stores up in Houston today.
One of them actually had about a dozen boxes of SIG Elite Performance 10mm(50rds). Only $44.99 per.
Hory Clap! One of them had a goodly supply of Monarch .30-30. Both had a good supply of auto pistol ammo. Didn't see any .38 or 357.
Then I stupidly went to Cabela's just to see what they had. They had most automatic pistols rounds except 10mm. But jesuschristonacrutch they were insanely priced. How does $55 for fifty rounds of .45aarp grab ya?

I went to the Academy in both Humble and New Caney looking for more shotgun shells and nothing. Carters Country in Spring location seems to have the good brands although a little pricy but not that much.

My Academy had CCI small rifle primers today! Got the 4 box limit. $6.95/100 - boo. Seems about right though. Ammo prices are at least + 50% over what they were a few years ago.
