Act of Valor gun question

So, I just watched act of valor. And I had a question, saw a lot of holographic sights, and was wondering would those work with the night vision, as they portrayed it in the movie?

I have one EOTech that is night vision compatible and two that are not.

Some will and some won't.

Yes, they use NV compatible EOTech sights. I've had two that were NV compatible over the years, there was a "NV" button on the sight.

My Aimpoint CompM2 is also NV compatible.

Yup. My Vortec Sparq on my UMP has an NV mode.

Not sure if you can make it out but I have the 557 model which has the NV button, basically drops the reticle brightness down where you can't see it unless you're using image intensified night vision.

I don't remember all the gear from that movie that well (huh, a movie I remember the plot more than the guns??), so I'm not sure what you mean by "they way they did in the movie". If there were IR lasers in the scenes, they were using PEQ-15 units on their rifles.

I believe they were the PEQ-16's.

That page confirms that it's an EoTech 553.
That's the sight I use on my AR and yes it has NV mode and the quick release toggles to mount to the rail.

Now I just need to get myself some NV goggles. :P
