Would it be possible to get a section for activism. A place dedicated to iseas and brainstorming ways to educate the general public and threads regarding petitions, open letters, contacting reps, etc without having to put it in politics or off topic.

would anybody else like to see something like this?

I would have to agree, I will honestly admit I could count the number of letters I had written before the recent turn of events on one hand with all my fingers cut off. Now I would need to take off my shoes and hope I had 6 toes.

I think there are many others like me who never experienced anything like this before and are only now seeing how bad it can get.

Sounds like a good idea. We'd need to make sure threads about pending or proposed legislation are kept in the proper forum, leaving the Activism forum for "How do we get the word out" and "How do we accomplish this" threads.

I think it would be an awesome idea if implemented correctly. It's always good to stay informed about what's going on, especially with the way our country is headed. Btw, I honestly wish Texas would have been granted secession lol.
