I want to thank the Wednesday shooting team at Shiloh, for letting me have a piece of the action tonight. My confidence was bolstered by attending the Beginner's Tactical course. So I thought I'd pop into the Advanced course and see what I could do.
I'm still a newbie but they let me join in some advanced tactical shooting. It was educational and fun. Everyone was helpful and encouraging, pointing out my mistakes and helping me correct them. No one talked down to me at all. I wish I could attend every Wednesday, but my job gets in the way.
I realized that I have lots of work ahead of me before I can call myself proficient in the use of my handgun. Most of all, it was fun. Thanks to the Shiloh gang for letting stick my foot in the door.
