AG Paxton filed suit in July 2016 against the City of Austin for not following state law regarding Concealed Carry/Open Carry laws. It seems the City has posted City Hall off limits for CC/OC contrary to State Law. The lawsuit is on trial this week in District Court. Has has asked for a fine exceeding $750,000 and compliance with the law. You can go to TSRA website for more info. The fine is based on a $1500/day fine for over 500 days.

Good for him. Have not had a chance to go by there. Will make a point of it though.

TSRA sent me an email about it. Who would think such a progressive city as Austin would do that?
