Yep, cheaper ammo; but you lose it in the price of mags...

I'll probably be kicking myself for not picking up another dozen or so of these; but I just bought two smooth-sided TAPCO mags at Top Brass as they look very similar to the Russian AK-103 polymer mag I have that I have stashed away!

Good idea. I think I'll pop over there and place an order.

ETA - Order done. If there's another panic, I can profit. If I rent a table and sell them at a gun show at current prices, I won't lose money. If there's never another panic, guess what I'll give away for door prizes in the future instead of that .22 ammo I've been handing out.

I'm hoping this might be reflected in a decrease in prices at the next gun show. I've seen them running for $9.99 now, if they went down just a couple bucks (say $7.99) I'd snag some at the show; but at double what I can get them for online, that would be the most I would pay at a show...

Not sure how many you were ordering, but mine came out to be $6.50 piece shipped which is still a good deal considering what it is locally. Hell, even if you decided you didn't like them and wanted to sell them, I couldn't see you getting your money back even at that price.


Either way, I noticed the sale ended this morning some time.

I actually made a buy while a sale was still on. That never happens to me. I've had some other good luck lately, too.

I think I'll brave the cold and go buy a lottery ticket.
