I figger I'll start off with what I call one of my "obscure" recipes. While not a big fan of the AK platform, I like them enough to have one. Natch' I hadda reload for it. Seemed the rifle wanted to sling brass halfway to Baton Rouge AFTER it beat it up bad. So, after much putzing around, I found this recipe to work: Winchester 123 GR soft point (.310") 14 GRs of 2400 Win Large Rifle Primer Win. brass. Gentle crimp to the cannelure. (I can go look up the OAL if someone cares) This load shoots minute of pie plate at 100 yards with sights on mechanical zero. Brass is within eight or ten feet and virtually unharmed. Shooting is comfortable as opposed to milsurp or *shudder* Wolf ammo. I have a test lot of brass that is on it's fourth load. No signs of brass failure (and I am anal about brass).
