The single barrel is awesome and the small batch is no slouch.

OFC blows the rest of bourbons away. You gotta pony up for it, though.

I had the last pour from the last bottle in CO back in March and it was worth every single penny.

Neat, with a drop of spring water to open it up. Is the way to drink it.

And yes, all the EH Taylor products are a very good value for their price point.

I don't do liquor. What is "OFC"?

I would much rather have 30 bottles of EHT single barrel than one bottle of OFC

Closest thing to anything like that I've had was a bottle of crown xr red. It was only a $250ish bottle new but apparently was extremely collectible after. It was good is all I know and I'm not very fond of crown in general.

As I said, I don't do whiskey, but I'd like to have a bottle of "good stuff" for occasions when folks like y'all show up.
Ya know, a shot or two, or a decent mixer while I have my beer.
    I'm listening.

Plain ole michters or Taylor's is tough to beat imo. At their typical price point of $30-45ish at least.

Picked up a bottle of Baker's 7yr single barrel today. It's pretty decent not near as good as their 13yr but also $40 cheaper lol.

Did the new label cost you any extra?
I'm not 100% sure but I think I paid $50ish for my original bottle of 7yrs but it's no single barrel and that was a year or so back. This bottle was $64 so not too crazy from what I've seen.

For years my go-to sippin' drink was Maker's Mark with a splash of Vernors ginger ale on the rocks.

4.5 years sober now and I can still remember the sweet taste. I told my wife, "When I'm on my death bed you can kiss sobriety goodbye and bring me a fifth of Maker's and a 2 liter of Vernors." She agreed.

    Cheers boys. And girls!

Up until sixteen years ago, I knocked back the bourbon and coke on weekends at the club. I really liked bourbon! Sometimes I liked it too much. I got a little tied up with too many one night and acted like a royal ass to the wife. Nothing violent, just stupid crap from being in too much of good mood from the alcohol. The wife asked me to take it easy when I was drinking bourbon, so out of respect to her, I pretty much stopped drinking hard spirits. I buy a fifth every few years, and usually only buy a brand that I know that I like. My last fifth of W L Weller lasted ne over ten years!
