My Norton Internet Security subscription is up and I'm in the market for a new IS program. Norton is fine, but it's a HUGE resource hog. Does anybody run something better than Norton?
Content blocking is a whole different can of worms. Frankly I have given up on Norton and McAfee both. They have finally packed so much stuff into their software that it is a real resource hog. Slows down your computer a lot. Honestly I’ve never bothered with content blocking though TrendMicro does have one but as far as I know it is an enterprise class software and pretty spendy. Used to run it at my last salaried employment.
Wow, TrendMicro does have content blocking software bundled in their Internet Security. It's the same price as Norton and if it's better and not a resource hog like Norton, I'll go with them.
Because I'm not just trying to block ads, but porn sites and stuff like that from search engines.
It isn't recommended to run two antivirus programs simultaneously.I have enough resources to run two of them simultaneously..
What are these virus things I keep hearing of?
