A Midland man is recovering after he accidentally shot himself at a Starbucks parking lot Sunday.
According to Sara Bustilloz, public information officer for the city of Midland, the man was taking his gun out of his pocket before entering the Starbucks on Rankin Highway.
Bustilloz said the man wasn't sure if Starbucks allowed concealed guns inside, which is why he was trying to take his gun off.
The gun went off, causing minor injuries, Bustilloz said.
No other injuries were reported.
