The little blue hair ladies of my HOA aren't as nice as CCPD. They would have fined the crap out of that guy...and maybe tazed him for a yard like that.

I open carry at home also.... so what.

These officers didn't have a clue what to say, and it was hard to watch that cop mumble and stammer his way through the conversation. Thank heavens the phone rang.. Simply put, they bumped into a person that knows that law.

Such a shame that our LEO's just don't get it.

Are you guys ready for all the fun starting on Jan 1st?

That is two years old. Also, the dude said he is protected by 46.035 of the penal code. (CHL Law) has nothing to do with him open carrying at his home.

Did he really start that "am I being detained" shit on his own property when no one was making him stand there?

Lt Brown was wrong about "public view of a firearm" being an offense. It is not disorderly.

Cops left, and left the guy alone. Brown certainly needs to be educated on this. But again, it is two years old.

Still funny. He's got another one where he goes bananas about getting put in the squad car.

It seems like he did have a conversation before the video started rolling, that's why he walks back out to talk and the cop had rounded the corner.

"It just looks bad..." Was that a joke?

Cops aren't there to "enforce the looking good."

Any Texas resident can OC on his own property, period.
