Alsatian Restaurant - Castroville

Has anyone been to the Alsatian Restaurant in Castroville recently. I used to go there a long time ago when I lived closer to it and liked it. I was wondering if it was still good.

Not the same thing. The Alsatian Restaurant is at the Alsatian Inn.

Both hotel and restaurant are still open. Don't know if any good. I've yet to find decent food in that town. I'll give them a try next time I'm out there and report back!

had "signed up" for a 2 night stay at the Inn (visiting Wife's family in the area) a couple of years ago.. stayed 1 night and cancelled the 2nd - the room was horrible - filthy and carpets and drapes water stained - ate 1 meal there before getting the heck out - wasn't anything I remember as good or bad - will never consider stopping there again

We did the Sunday brunch there a couple of months ago, it was very good, and the price wasn't too terrible either.

I've been. Food was very good. Didn't stay the night so don't know 'bout dem roaches.

I stop at nemos anytime I end up in castroville for soft shelled crab and gulf shrimp. Mmmm good.

The airport bums I hang with in Castroville frequent Emma's Kitchen in LaCoste. It's 5 minutes from the Castroville airport.

The best food in town is at Dziuk's meat market, but it's not a restaurant. Marvin knows his business! Get the jalapeño parisa.

I had no idea there were so many places to eat there. The town must have grown since I was there 20 years ago.
