McLucas said the supervisor who complained has been in the United States for 14 years and is formerly from Africa. McLucas said the supervisor took down Debbie's flag herself.

"The flag and the pole had been placed on the floor," McLucas said. But McLucas also said hospital higher ups had told her some patients' families and visitors had also complained.

Now, why would you want to go and get me all irritated so early in the morning?!

I guess it's not politically correct to be patriotic.

+1 - I am already half ticked and now I'm full blow pissed.
Socialist bastards can't even acknowledge that out men and women in uniform are the one's that provide the freedom and security that allows them to be Socialist bastards:mad::mad::mad:

I find this to be completely absurd! F that guy from Africa if you don't like the American flag go back to were ever the hell you came from and see how tolerant they are of your personal views. How do people come hear to get away from being oppressed just to complain about the country that gave them freedom? I'm sick of this shit! :patriot:

THAT IS WRONG! I am trying to put my thoughts down right now and am so pissed I will sound like some kind of blithering idiot.
The only thing I can think of right now is that someone needs to be run up that flag pole.
God be with the one that touches my flag with bad intentions.:patriot:

I had to stop and wait a few minutes before I could write this. I didnt want to say something I would regret. I am still so mad it hurts. I could see this in Cal. or New York, but here in Texas, I just didnt think it would happen. all I will say is I hope that they suffer the wrath of the rest of us. I hope they have a hard time paying the bills for a long time. The men and women of Texas have given their all for the service of this great land, and done it for so long, and it was under that flag. How can anyone who lives in Texas be offended by that flag. And if they are what are they doing still here?

Message sent. It wasn't very wishy washy or eloquent, just your basic 'I support/get your values straight' message.

Just read a small article in this evenings dallasmorningnews.co that the higherups at the Kindred Corp decided to let the lady hang her flag. Apparently it was due to a large amount of e-mails and blogs protesting.

How would you like to be that CEO?

The pucker factor dictates that he probably needs new leather in his chair.

    Way to go people!

Aside from the complaint from someone who should obviously go back to their homeland if they miss it and detest the United States so much, I cringed when I read the part about the flag being onthe floor. I go around my cul-de-sac and set the flags that my neighbors put out upright if they fall over. The colors never touch the ground and must be properly handled...

Gee whiz. At least the head honchos got smoked and decided to wise up.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous... I about crashed my f*cking car when I heard that this had happened in our great state... I hope that the dipshit behind this gets his ass deported.... I don't care where... and I'm usually not into usually into the American jingoism that most are... I am most into Texas pride and not because I'm a redneck but because I teach Texas history and we have so much to be proud of in our history.. but on the other hand so does our country... that being said any other day of the week I might be able to stomach this... on memorial day... no F'in way...

It is uncanny the level that some people can escalate their assholelism...

I would have politely taken my flag off the pole and folded it. Then I would have ripped a good chunk of the pole down and beat the you know what out of them and then raised the flag back up and asked them. "How bout them apples"

Gotta suck when you touch something that isnt yours and you get caught.

But, that is just my humble opinion. I am admitadly{sic) a slightly educated redneck that believes in the USA and the democracy that we have spent over 200 years defending and protecting.

It makes my heart proud of the fact that they got so much flak that they changed their position.

    be safe and stay strong.:patriot:

This reminds of when they made the Montague Courthouse take down the Nativity scene...

I fire off a e-mail that sound just like what I am reading above.
Just plain pissed. I just don't get people that come to this country, reap its benefits and then find Americans and our culture offensive.
