Ammo Identification

    Ok I was digging through some of my grandfathers old reloading stuff and found some odd rounds. I would like some help trying to identify

    it says rem-pmc 44S&WR

    My guess is .44 russian but not sure.

    what is the casse length? lyman has the 44 russian at.970 and the 44 smith and wesson special at 1.160 both at .432 dia

    Have not measured yet but its not .44 special

    Its hard to get a definate measure since they are all loaded but I got 9.49.

    Thats what I thought but couldn't find anywhere that said it.
