If this is a repost/thread I apologize in advance. I searched to see if it existed and could not find it anywhere. I found some "lucky" boxes of .40 ammo at wally world when I was just looking for some garden stuff. FMJ Winchester white box, nothing fancy. It did get me thinking. I have totally forgotten what ammo used to cost without this "crisis". That being the case, i am having trouble recognizing wether I am paying really horrible prices or slightly above prices for 9mm, .40, .45acp, 223 and 5.56 ammo.
Does anyone remember what you used to pay for these calibers in practice as well as defensive ammo?
