    They should have removed the other individual as an accomplice to misdemeanor assault. All they needed for that was one person to say they felt their personal safety was threatened. The introduction of the night stick could have elevated the mideamoner charge for the one perp. Either way, both men could have been detained for at least the afternoon depending on the court's schedule.

    Did you notice the blatant hypocrisy in the youtube comments? People were attacking FoxNews for reporting this, rather than condemning this behavior. These are Obama supporters.

    I guess that would all depend on the law there. Carrying a nightstick on your person is a misdemeanor in Texas, except a polling place on election day is a felony.

    However, mearly "feeling" that your personal safety is threatened is not sufficient for an assault arrest in Texas.
