A Bill of Sale was probably the least of his worries!

He admitted routinely buying firearm firing mechanisms, using milling equipment to build them into guns, then selling them for profits of $100-$200.

Why would he do that?

Well most of the time if you admit to something you get a shorter sentence.

So if they had a damning amount of evidence such as a stack of bill of sales and he knows he is going down you admit to it for a lesser sentence
