Although my college may seem more conservative than most, I'm certain there are those that are opposite of my own views. I am very careful not to voice my opinions broadly. My wife is a public school 4th grade teacher, and she reminds me almost every single time I go to her school to take her lunch or help with something to NOT open my mouth about politics, at all.
Were they setting up a range date?I just walked into break room at work and 3 ladies were talking guns.
One was telling the other she needed a gun to defend herself. The third chimed in and said she was thinking about selling her 380.Were they setting up a range date?
Good! Wasn't the response I was expecting. One was telling the other she needed a gun to defend herself. The third chimed in and said she was thinking about selling her 380. I was walking out with my coffee at that point.
I'm SORRY to hear that. LOLAOC could be on my table and I would treat her just like all my other patients.
I'm SORRY to hear that. LOL
Like anything it's a cross section of people.
I'm a nurse. I did my chl class with a coworker who is an instructor. I talk guns and knives with coworkers almost daily. I'm sure there are others at work that don't share our views. But it doesn't come up.
I don't talk politics or religion with patients. AOC could be on my table and I would treat her just like all my other patients.
Did you start the conversation or did they?
I don't discuss personal views with any medical folks.
Done. Hope you get some good news soon.
That was unprofessional of her... If I saw a customer looking at MSNBC or something I wouldn't react at all. Can't imagine engaging a customer in political talk.Well... I would say she did, with the way she looked at my TV because fox was on, but I verbally started it.
