Just for fun, here is a neat old Remington Model 1875 six shooter. from the 1880's. It shoots well but i am gentle with this old gent. Still packs a punch and is certainly fun. Black Powder of course.
I just cannot get enough of these old wheel guns.

I'll bet it could be real interesting to hear the stories of its past, if it could tell them.
Do you happen to know anything at all about its history?
Does Remington provides archive service like Colt's does?

You might appreciate my latest acquisition, even not being nearly as old as your SA wheelgun... I got a one-of-a-kind Colt's prototype for the J frame MkIII, lettered by Colt's Archives, and made ca 1968.
    I'll have to post pics.

Now that is interesting! Can't wait.
It’s not an old west six gun, but I said I’d post a photo of my Colt MkIII prototype. Many may not appreciate it but I figure you might since you’re like me in that you appreciate historical firearms. I find a prototype to be of particular historical significance, and they’re just incredibly rare.
Sorry I’m so slow about finally getting around to sending this.
