I just stopped eating fast food period. A year later, I am down to 190 lbs and my cholesterol isnt anywhere NEAR where it was then. But every once in awhile I throw me a good munch on, and Whataburger is top o' the list!

I should, but I usually let my work schedule get the best of me.


What I've done lately is cut back on the portions. No more 2-3 plates at the all you can eat, no supersize, and only one dessert per week. I effortlessly dropped 10 lbs in August.

I just dropped 15 in the last 6 weeks. I'd like to drop another 50 or so but me and hard work don't get along that well either.

One thing California has right is In-N-Out burger... I think other than the beach bunnies that is the only thing I miss about being stationed out there.... I did find a place almost identical in Austin though, I cant remember the name of it, but it is right up the road from McBrides....

OOOOOOHHHHHHH In-N-Out Burger!!!!! My little brother lived in LA for about 10 years and every time I went to visit, we had to stop on the way from LAX to his house to get my fix. Double Double baby!

Dunno if it's what you're talking about, but I LOVE Burger Tex. It's pretty close to there. Right on Airport just south of 290. Mmmmmm

I will have to give Whataburger another go. Last few times I was in there they served up hockey pucks on a bun.

+1 on In-N-Out. Nearest is about 950 miles from here, in Tucson. If I start driving now I could be there by lunchtime.

Well you will have to try that one new one they have with
the double meat with the chopped onions and shredded cheddar
cheese and bacon in between the paddies , almost couldnt
finish it.

I like storm's burgers in Lampasas, or the in Burnet, or Marble Falls. more than whataburger.
