Somehow your avatar don't convey quite what the old man said when he told us to get double barrels...you look too determined.

Lets hope JaDerek didn't have any children of his own.

I hate bikes that cut lanes, it's illegal for a reason. All you did is risk your life and make it dangerous for everyone around you. Every biker claims its totally safe. It's totally a JACKASS thing to do.

JaDerek got mad because a SUV didn't see him between lanes as he was speeding past everyone. So he pulled infront of the guy stopped his bike, got off and pointed ag un at him. The SUV driver asked him to put the gun away. JaDerek didn't, the SUV driver ended JaDereks selfish spree.

I'm just glad there was someone who witnessed what happened, what was said...and had guts enough to tell the truth.

Don't say "every biker". I've been riding a motorcycle since 1966 and I've NEVER rode the white line. I know lots of bikers and none have ever ridden the white line because we all say it's stupid and way to dangerous.

But we're Harley riders not crotch rocket riders.

These say it's NOT legal. I HOPE it's not legal. MC riders are not a special class to be treated better than the rest of us. Pick a lane and take your turn. I've seen MC riders get the short end of the stick all my life, but reverse discrimination never solved a problem...won't here, either.

19 yr old had a pistol, seems illegal to me. Just shows how irresponsible the bike rider is.
I've rode bikes for years & had jackasses do stupid shit. While parked at a light, had a jackass try to take my gap between to other parked cars waiting on the light. The car never saw me & just thought it was a gap. Never pulled out my pistol, I just kicked out his taillight.

He'll, just the other weekend on 45 had a pack of 5 Harley riders, not want to wait while rolling 75. Two of them passed me on the right shoulder rolling 90 - 100.

Lane splitting in LA LA Land was legal in '07 when I had to spend almost a year out there. I had been riding since HS and learned in Cali. Most completely stupid thing ever. Riders have become militant out there and of course they run in gangs.
They kick in fenders, doors and break glass in those they take a dislike to. They will surround and stop you if you get in their way. Other Cali lowlifes turn a blind eye to the riders since the laws are on their side.
The real 1%ers are a breath of fresh air to be around as they want nothing to do with the cages on the road.
If this is something that Cali riders want bring with them then what happened in FW will become more common

I'm trying to figure out why everybody seems to be pissed off or at least easy to piss off on the roads, in stores, bars, etc. these days. Is it a macho thing, a job thing, etc., etc.?
My oldpinion is that mankind is living under more pressure in every area of life than we were created to live under.
Job security...sure retirement...loyalty on the job...sense of accomplishment...not so much
Youngsters having a secure family and passed-down values taught by example...not so many
Hope for a good life, good marriage...not like most of us did when we were young.
There's a lot more going wrong at every level than going right...and folks are stretched way too far...easy for them to snap over something we would just shrug our shoulders over and go on.
Gotta build a life, like a building, on a firm foundation. We're too far removed from the values that made America strong, that made close families who helped/nurtured each other. Too many are not getting anything near a fair shake from gov't at all levels, education, medical system...

A lot less hope in the hearts these days for a growing number of people. That's gotta be rebuilt person by person by a lotta knee time and making the decisions to go back and live by solid values that produce good results. We know it...nothing else works, as we see all around us.

MC are a unique vehicle with a unique ability to safely (when done within reason) move between other vehicles moving slowly or stopped on the road. Why should they wait when they made a choice to ride a smaller vehicle that has a unique ability. It is akin socialism saying you shouldn't get more than the "standard wage" even though you went to college.

The rules of the road are there to keep people safe, not to hold someone on a motorcycle back just because you can't do what a MC can in a car. Lane splitting and filtering to the front at lights in one of the things I enjoy most on my dirt bike (plated) trips to Cali.

This particular turd wasn't doing it safely, but I wish it was explicitly legal here in Texas. Other than the "but I can't in my car" or "but thats not fair" I have yet to hear a real valid argument against lane splitting.
