He's definitely a candidate for a sex change operation, since he's already lost his balls and then he could be Katelyn Jenner's BFF.

The reporter is a wimp but did you see that they have about 200 pistols out on the retail floor for anyone to walk up and play with? I hope they took the firing pins out.

Isn't it odd that in the military, soldiers were taught to not worry about the recoil by sergeant's firing the M 16 with the buttstock resting on their chin, and resting on their groin. How this minimally recoiling rifle could create "shockwaves" up the arm and through the shoulder is beyond me....
My 5'2" 120# wife loves shooting AR's. She likes them because they are loud, and have no recoil.

What a load of made-up crap. I also noticed that the magazine had "disabled comments" on the article. So much for free and open discussion.

The first time I shot a 50 BMG was at the NYPD range at Rodman's Neck inn the Bronx, NY. I kind of expected just about what this reporter described the recoil to be when he fired that pipsqueak Ar15. The truth is, the recoild from the 50 BMG was so much less than I had expected that I was amazed at how light it was for such a big round. Then again it was a heavy barreled rifle; still though, you'd think (or I had thought) it would have given my shoulder a pounding but it did not. This reporter is either one of the biggest wussies ever or is trying to become the next Ruark.

Comparing the 50 BMG to a 223 is like comparing apples to oranges.

Rifles meant to fire the 50 BMG round are heavy to begin with, and also have the benefit of purpose built and designed muzzle brakes to counter-act the massive recoil of the round.

A 223 regardless of what firearm it's fired from is a baby in comparison.

Did you notice, I at first was talking about the 50 BMG based upon what I had expected - not on what actually wound up being the case and only then explained what was the truth to debunk a Charlatan. The truth is, the 50 BMG had much more of a kick than the 223 from an AR but less than I expected. The truth is also that both are rifle rounds and one has much more of a kick than the other and that the reporter obviously exaggerated at best but probably just outright and willingly lied to portray the AR-15 as evil to his readers (other leftists - no doubt).

If the reporter had fired a 50 BMG do you think he would have said the same thing about the recoil or rather that it felt like a nuclear bomb had went off on his shoulder and up his arms? I think he would not have said anything like that had he fired the larger round and the round that recoils much more (though not as terribly as I had thought - just like the libs think about a 223 or 5.56 from an AR). What he likely would have said, had he fired a 50 BMG round was that it had a lot of kick - he would not have been so dramatic. Why not? Because that is what most people expect of a 50 BMG - a lot of kick but mostly because it is not seen as the premiere assault rifle that we gun lover all must certainly own and with which we want to destroy America as the libs see us and our guns. Let's face it, he said what he said about the AR-15 and the223/5/56 not bcaus he is a wussie but because he is (at least in my opinion) a lying POS reporter who is anti-gun and thus in line with our the president and other anti-gun leftists who are anti AR-15. Let's face it, he did not want to disappoint his readers - they who are most likely libs who consider the AR-15 to be the ultimate and most extremely terrible killing machine of all time.
