    The comments are terrible.

    I cannot believe some of the crap I read in the comments section. I mean people really think that way? Worst part is some of them, by what they said in their comments, are gun owners. Way to go online and say stupid shit and make us all look like asshats and wanna be Rambos.

    You are right Dusty. The only things they proved what we already know, police can not protect against this happenning. And they were bad at starting a revolution. None of it in a good way. The comments just add to the stupidity.

    That news article says the male dirtbag had many previous felony convictions.

    Had a conviction for assault with intent to injure and many drug violations. He was prohibited from owning or possessing firearms and the Bundy protesters kicked him out because of his felony rap sheet.

    A real winner for sure. Wonder how he got the firearms. Did the woman straw purchase them? Were those two egged on by individuals on facebook, stormfront, anarchist/sovereign citizen forums?

    Was just looking at their FB pages.... Def meets the criteria of "crack kills". Also read where it was confirmed a concealed carry person was going to confront the guy, but the wife shot him. The concealed carry guy didnt even get his weapon out.

    The couple had left their Bruce Street apartment about 4:30 a.m., telling neighbors they planned to murder cops, the official said. Police said they were armed with several handguns and a shotgun, and carried several hundred rounds of ammunition.

    At first I read this and said WTF?? No one decided that it might be prudent to report this, then I looked into the area this apartment was in and it all made sense. Here is an entertaining review of the property. :)

    The truth will not be revealed any time soon.

    The "Don't Tread on Me" flag was thrown down to discredit the Tea Party.

    Sadly, every person alive in the United States of America has been bombarded with the lie that NAZI's are right wing extremists. Nothing could be further from the truth.

    The NAZI's were in fact far left socialists (National Socialist Party) and were in competition with the Soviet Union for global domination of their ideology. The NAZI's threw in a bit of Mussolini's Fascism to gain popular approval.

    It was a fringe movement and millions of people bought into the hype, just like millions voted for Obama's "Hope & Change".

    I've spent the better part of tonight arguing with some idiots in the "Ban Guns" crowd.

    Argument 1:
    Because of this we need laws for background checks on all person to person gun transfers.

    Me:
    Guy got his guns from two sources. Before the shooting most likely from his deranged wife who passed a background check and the others after shooting 2 police officers and grabbing their guns. I doubt they would have stopped, after murdering two officers, to go though a background check before using their guns.

    Argument 2:
    Had Joseph Robert Wilcox not been falsely brave due to his gun....he might still be alive. Not only did he not stop them, he was their last victim. He's only a hero in intent.

    My Response:
    That he interjected himself into the situation and tried his best to stop them is the heroic part. Here's a guy who may have been able to fight or run and decided to fight.

    He may have known the risks and acted the same way with anything at his disposal as a weapon including threatening to throw a can of tuna.

    He had a choice to act or retreat and he acted to the best of his knowledge and abilities to do good and is a hero and he had a gun as one of his choices to do it with.

    What happened at CiCis...

    Why I face the door when at all possible eating out at a restaurant. Not saying they didn't do it or I'm perfect at it but golly it's something I try and do every single time.

    This whole situation is incredibly fishy. First off all the Gadsen placed on the officers body WITH swastikas as well. Libertarianism and Naziism are so anathema to eachother it's ridiculous. That alone strikes me as very odd, either these people were so strung out on meth that they somehow connected the two into some sick twisted ideology or one or the other was planted on the officers. They are also being linked to Bundy, although alot of the media neglects to mention that they were kicked out of that group (supposedly for being convicted felons but something tells me it's other reasons like they were trying to rabble rouse or something). I was also combing through the comments on an article and happened upon a guy who took it upon himself to look up the voter registration records on at least the wife. Turns out shes a registered Dem (check for yourself on the Clark County Nevada Department of Elections). This whole story is full of so many holes it ain't funny.

    Pretty much EVERYTHING around the Bird Cage .. er .. Fremont Street Experience is Crack Central, Whore Central and any other drugs and vices around Central.

    Back in the 70s, before they built the "cage," about all you had to worry about on Fremont Street was prostitutes and the occasional homeless person. Now, if you go out at night slightly away from the "cage," you're more likely to get mugged. Not to mention that the whole area smells like an uncleaned urinal.

    Sadly many news outlets do not state that a ccw/chl holder did attempt stop them. They say there was another victim at Walmart. NO, that was a legally armed citizen that took that step to stop evil. In doing so he may stopped furthere deaths. I say it over and over these shooters and those in the school shooting always and 99% of the time, they are not killed by the police but commit suicide when they realize they are going down.

    All over the world
    The media needs to stop talking about these things all together, every time they show one more pop off, they need to report only documented facts not opinions and call them what they are "pre-meditated murders"not shootings. I and many of you go “shooting” all the time and no one gets hurt these are not someone shooting they are murdered and attempted murders. All they are doing by calling it a shooting is word association

    Shooting = gun
    Shooting = Murder
    + Murder = bad
    --------------------------
    Gun = Murder
    Gun = bad

    Instead of calling it murder (murder = bad) and calling the PERSON a murderer (murderer = person) and that the person that committed the act is at fault they are trying to play on the emotions of the people that can no longer think for themselves and get them to blame the tool that the murderer used instead. It is the same as that murderer in Cali that thought because women rejected his little creepo advances (including a 10 year old actress/model)he was justified in killing anyone he saw with several tools of destruction including a knife (murdered 3), a BMW (murdered 1, injured another) and a gun (murdered 2 before offing itself) but the media keeps talking about it being a shooting.

    It is the same in this case it needs to be clearly and repeatedly (if they air anything) that the murdered stole guns off the two murdered police officers who were doing nothing more than trying to eat some pizza and that it was a CCW holder that finally interrupted their plans to the point that it ended then and there, sadly he died as well but instead of looking at it as he was murdered I see it as he gave the last measure of devotion to his fellow man and laid his own life down in the defense of those that could not or would not defend themselves and as a US Marine for nearly 10 years now,I can do nothing but respect that, pray for his family and take pride in the fact that such men exist.

    Semper Fi

    Everything stated in here is my PERSONAL opinion and may not be the view of the USMC.
