    Stupid is what stupid reports.

    Reporters generally have a degree in journalism. Journalism school does not include any instruction on truth or common sense. They just spout what ever sounds eloquent at the moment.

    I'm sure the reporter saw and identified what the guy had as a Webley- Fosbery, so he correctly reported it as a semi-auto.
