If I am the customer in question I would call your boss and tell him your company is fired. Business 101, the customer is always right. Guns, politics, sports, you agree with customer and close the deal.

When I am in Pittsburgh, the Steelers are the best, When in Boston, the Pats are the best. Someone thinks Tiger Woods is great, you bet!
So what do you say when you're in Detroit?

    something something 1st amendment.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Nowhere does it say your employer can't tell you what you can and cannot discuss at work.

The same way they can prohibit the carry of firearms on their property.
