Any experience with a Suomi M31?

I'm scratching my head over my next gun purchase. I've grown tired of the average appeal of my Marlin camp 9 and am considering getting a Finnish M31 9mm. The rifle itself isn't that cheap, but 71 round drum mags are $34.

Does anyone out there have any experience with these rifles? Whether bought already built in semi configuration or homebuilding from the cheap parts kits?

I handled one at a store once. The thing was ridiculously heavy... I was very interested until I picked it up.
