When .22 LR got scarce last year, I started scrounging for ammo to replace what I had shot.
My go-to ammo was Federal and Winchester bulk packs.
I had some CCI tucked away, but thought it was too expensive to shoot for general use.
Then, one day, I found some CCI Standard Velocity ammo I had never seen before.
Bought two 50-round boxes at $3.49 each.
The accuracy of those rounds out of my Ruger American Rimfire was simply astounding.
Have not seen any of that for sale since.
When I do I will buy all I can afford.
