    Yeah, I'm a NRA member and that's where I got the news from. One of the things I always hated, and not that I don't use guns for sport i.e.: hunting and range, but the primary reason for owning guns to me is for protection of life and property, so being classified as "sport" always irked me. The 2nd amendment isn't just about or even suggesting owning guns for sport.

    Also, I come from an area of the country where the laws in the past have made it harder to own many guns. This bill seems to be bringing back some common sense.

    Heard of it. It's a start. But it needs to go farther and specify what they can and can not do without congressional approval.
