I've fished Texoma many times a year for all of my life except for the time I was in the military.

I've fished every cove, shoreline, bridge, most docks, deep water, island, etc of the lake at all hours of the day and have caught literally thousands of fish there. I love Lake Texoma!

The lake is way down this year so some species of fish have taken a big hit and you are a bit too late for the best Crappie action this year but the lake holds some other great fish. It is most well known for Stripped Bass. Stripper are amazing and powerful fighters which makes them fun as hell to catch and if you cut all the red meat out they're damn good on the plate.

You also have channel, blue and flathead catfish; Largemouth, smallmouth and sand bass; a ton of sunfish (perch and bluegill) and many other species.

Sometimes when we get bored of game fishing or being on the boat we'll just dock fish to see who can catch the biggest carp or alligator gar.

    Great fishing lake.

If it is Crappie action you seek, head to Fork or Tawakoni.
