How's AZ. I haven't made it back this year. I miss the rim but find the rest of my native home less and less appealing everytime I go back.

Well it’s hanging in there. Definitely not what it used to be. Becoming more like CA and less like AZ by the day especially in Phoenix and Tucson but other parts like Prescott and Sedona too, but still a good many years from being California. Real estate is crazy from all that California money, and I’m trying to get my wife and kids to fall back to Apache or Cochise Counties. I guess the tough will get going if we run out of water.

I've never understood the reasoning that people leave a place and then try to change their destination into what they left behind.

Two commies will appear here to eat my food - typical. I really need to invite @Hoji . He ain't that far away and might spice things up a bit. Unfortunately, I don't have easy access to a helicopter.
Well, today I actually am pretty far away

Hoping to shoot a big deer on Saturday. But I am tickled to be thought of on Thanksgiving.

I understand completely. And it's not just people moving from other states, it's people coming into our country, and doing the same thing. Trying to turn it into the shithole they were running from.

Our founders were exceptional. The last 100 years of government school and materialism disconnected many Americans from the underpinnings of Liberty.

The people moving from the turd world and people fleeing the blue dumps they created are wings of the same bird. There is a belief in magical dirt in both cases and a bootlicking mentality in the main.

I visited the shopping centers at The Woodlands yesterday. It looked like a Disneyfied globohomo nightmare to me.

Hope all had a wonderfully delightful Thanksgiving.

Spent the day at my son's place with him, his girlfriend and our two pooches. We ate turkey, homemade stuffing (both in the bird and in the pan), butternut squash (with butter, garlic, cinammon, and raisin bran), corn on the cob, asparagus made on the grill, cranberry sauce, and home made from scratch chocolate brownies (baked in an 9x9x2" pan - cut into 16 pieces - they are 350 calories each - but I use an 8x8x2 pan). Nothing except maybe the asparagus would have pleased a commie much, in fax our food probably would have made lefties' heads spin. Some of our meal was food similar to that that might have been eaten at the original Thanksgiving festival. I said similar because our turkey was domestic, we had corn, raisins (in the raisin bran) cranberry sauce (an unlikely dish for the 1600s but possible back then since cranberries abound in New England) and we had butternut squash which is native to eastern North America; although I am uncertain if butternut squash was native to NE, I believe it to have been so as it was known to be used by native Americans as close by as Rhode Island and the climate of NE is near perfect for growing it. Was hoping for some venison too but my son forgot to make it.

There was zero commie, socialist or other lefty talk at my son's house all day long unless it was the mention of the left, its failures and how much it sucks.

There is a time to deal with arsehats, maybe even to invite them over for a meal, but I think Thanksgiving is not one of them. There is also a time for sarcasm, and talking about Thanksgiving is not one of them - unless of course those being sarcastic are lefties.

May we just send all of them to your house for Thanksgiving next year?

    Asking for friends!
