Anybody walk as workouts?

I've been walking a mile or two each day with my dog. It's been good for me, and I think it's doing something for the pup too.

Need to start walking again. Used to do it daily, but not since I moved to Texas. No sidewalks in this town.

Only time I've been to the Houston Galleria, I saw people walking at 6:45am. I'm guessing the mall entrances were unlocked because none of the stores were open at that hour.
