I just got my Public lands permit added to my license and Granger Lake is the closest piece of real estate that I can hunt on. Was wondering if anyone has been hunting out there before and know what kind of game is out there or any good spots? Especially wondering about turkeys and pigs.

There is a bunch of hogs in the wildlife management area on the west side of the lake near willis creek. I think there is alot more hogs than turkeys in the area.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm in Utah right now and will be back in TX by Turkey season, hopefully I can bag one in Granger WMA, since it's the closest place to Austin to go hunt. Going to have to pick up a crossbow since you can only bow hunt for hog out there.
