The promise of reliability is tempting, i am hoping the G44 is going to built to the same standards as centerfire pistols. Looks like they will be available late January 2020.

I’m trying to figure out why they won’t put more than ten rounds of .22 in something the size of a G19.

I’m interested. May not buy for a while though. I can already shoot my Buckmark at Steel Challenge matches for now.

    Nope

The fact that flamethrowers exist is proof that someone thought “I want to set those people on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done”.

The Beretta M9-22 magazines hold 15 rounds. The Taurus TX22 magazines hold 16 rounds.

I have the Beretta and intend to get the Taurus after I finish paying for my 5906.
I've got the Beretta M9-22, and love that thing; however, the 10-round GLOCK mag for the G44 won't prevent me from buying the pistol.

They already have the threaded barrel set to be available after the pistols are available.
Figured it wouldn't take long, still would like a "ready to go" version. Have a bunch of factory barrels already sitting around that have been replaced.

I'm going to wait for the aftermarket to catch up to it a bit, and I bet the aftermarket will catch up to it in relatively short order.

This. $250 or so would tempt me.

I saw preorders for new ones at $360. More than I would pay until I hear good things but still a little steep given the market.
Yep if its normal glock reliability, i would buy one at $300 for the most

I would consider buying the Glock 44. At least it holds more rounds than my Ruger Mark I. :) Actually, I would probably choose the M&P 22 Compact over the Glock 44.
