    I have a 1967 Evinrude 40-horse outboard motor that has a CRACKED transom clamp. - I NEED a JUNK JOHNSON/EVINRUDE 40HP to strip for the part, as welding that alloy is DIFFICULT or just impossible.
    (OMC is out of business, so it cannot be ordered.)

    Out here by the lake!
    Watching American Pickers they showed a marina on the Mississippi in Iowa or Illinois that had all kinds of old boat motors. The place had to move after 57 years in the same location IIRC.
