Anyone have experiance in the austin area working on 30-30's?

I got a New Haven by Mossberg 679 lever action in .30-.30 from GB about a month or so ago and when I received it the sub-receiver was cracked and it needed a new extractor. So I managed to get the thing apart without damaging anything and replaced all parts needed... then I went off to JRTC in Ft. Polk.... came back and can't seem to get the damn thing together.

I really don't want to pay $60-70hrs to have someone put it back together when I probably can figure it out in the long run with some help.

Give me some more info. I've only tooled with the Winchester 94 and Marlin 336. Which step are you stuck on? Levers can be a pain. post some more info and I just might be able to help you.
