    I need the max charge data for .223 75 grain HPBT using TAC and Varget. It's probably the same as 77 grain SMKs I have been using, but I figure it doesn't hurt to check when blowing off my face is involved... It's for an AR in case they've got a different section for bolt guns. Thanks!

    Yeah, I looked up Hodgdon's and Ramshot's data the other day, I was just hoping to get a second opinion from Hornady. The powder and bullet company's data always seem to be pretty far from each other. Thanks for the link anyway though.

    This might help. I don't have the latest Hornady manual, but the new Nosler manual shows a max of 23.5 grains of TAC and 24.0 grains of Varget with their 77 grain match HPBT bullet.

    Hornady 7th edition lists 23.5gr as max for Varget, TAC is not listed.
